What are subscription boxes?

So what are these subscription box things anyway? 

Put simply: pay a fee and receive a themed box of sample products (sometimes full sized) in the mail.  Most are monthly, though some boxes ship quarterly.

There's a variety of box themes out there, but not all are available in Australia yet.  There are:

• Health
• Baby
• Children's
• Periods (Yes, you read that one right, but there are no Australian versions at the moment.)
• Food
• Adult
• Craft
• Home
• Pets

The boxes come as a lovely monthly treat for your special interest and I just love them!
